u-blox has purchased 15 patents and patent applications from UK-based Air Semiconductor Ltd. The patents expand the company’s technology portfolio of low-power gps kids watch solutions designed to capture location instantly. u-blox, based in Thalwil, Switzerland, is a fabless provider of gps kids watch and wireless semiconductors, software, and receivers.
