Trimble, JSC Russian Space Systems Enter Joint Venture

JSC Russian Space Systems and Trimble Navigation Group have announced the signing of constituent documents and the registration of a joint venture between the Russian Federation and the United States in the field of satellite navigation, LLC Rusnavgeoset. The main purpose of the new joint venture is the creation of infrastructure of high-precision positioning for civilian users in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States countries, expected to contribute directly to the commercialization of the GLONASS.
