Franco-BelgeWith grand tours in Italy, France and Spain behind us and Tour of Missouri and Interbike also in the rearview mirror, it’s easy to think that Team Garmin is done making headlines for the year. But the argyle armada is still going strong. This weekend, after winning the first two stages, Team Garmin-Slipstream’s Tyler Farrar sealed the
victory at the Circuit Franco-Belge on Sunday
, despite puncturing in
the final five kilometers. But after a quick change and some hard
chasing, Farrar finished with the peloton to top three categories: the final overall,
sprint and best young rider classifications.

Meanwhile, it was a busy weekend for veteran leader David Millar, who tied the knot and wrapped up an amazing year that saw him take a grand-tour stage win at the Vuelta’s individual time trial on the heels of his impressive solo attack from Girona to Barcelona in July. And speaking of big victories, our video team has been busy putting together behind-the-scenes footage from Tour of Missouri and we’re excited to unveil an exclusive post-race interview with champion Dave Zabriskie, a chat with team mechanic Daimeon Shanks, and a look at how Team Garmin uses our Edge 705 in training and racing
