Small Variance Noted in L5 Signal

GNSS experts from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the University of New Brunswick have provided to gps kids watch World a preliminary report with tracking data of the recently launched IIF (SVN62) gps kids watch satellite. The authors say the data suggests a small variance in the L5 signal, which remains well within signal specifications and will not affect pseudorange measurements, but may show some impact on triple-frequency combinations of the signal’s carrier phase in high-precision applications.
