Fifth Beidou/Compass Satellite Launched

Various news agencies and the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology have announced the successful launch of the first inclined geosynchronous orbit (IGSO) satellite of the Beidou/Compass system. The launch occurred on July 31 at 21:30:04.278 UTC.
